lyrics

I raise my head up tall when I bang it against the wall
A couple times til I can thinkI spent my day and my money yesterday at the bar
And now I ain’t got no money to drink

Well I stumbled in and I stumbled outAnd I wasn’t to sure what you were talkin about
Everything was just a blur to me
Well I don’t know how I got to this place
I must have been such a disgrace
Trying to get you to come back with me

I raise my head up tall when I bang it against the wall
A couple times til I can thinkI spent my days and my money yesterday at the bar
And now I ain’t got no money to drink

See my friend Nate must have been a little confused
He was chattin with some broad actin real cool
But he didn’t know that, that broad was just a man
And he took her home and the night went on
And he got it down, and said it got on his face
And said man I gotta get the fuck outta this place

I raise my head up tall when I bang it against the wall
A couple times til I can thinkI spent my days and my money yesterday at the bar
And now I ain’t got no money to drink

Well the night is over , and that’s a matter of fact
I had way to much to drink and I’ve found a dad
And he ended up in someone elses at the end of the street
Well it’s always fun when your with your friends
And the night goes on it’s a matter of time
That you end up in some ditch at the end of the street

I raise my head up tall when I bang it against the wall
A couple times til I can thinkI spent my days and my money yesterday at the bar
And now I ain’t got no money to drink
And now I ain’t got no money to drink

about

The Dirty Pennies Rochester, New York

The Dirty Pennies formed at the end of 2012.
Originally a power DUO with bluesy rock guitar and heavy driving drums, Ryan Klem and Lucas Howe gigged constantly creating a loyal fan base at almost every venue in town.
Fast forward to 2015 and the band added a third member, Joe Mungo, to provide a much needed bottom to the rhythm section and an Indie Rock flavor to their current Blues Rock styling.
